Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computation (AMSC) Graduate Program
The AMSC Program currently offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees with concentrations either in Applied Mathematics or in Scientific Computation.
A graduate certificate in Scientific Computation is offered for students who obtain degrees from certain other graduate programs at the University of Maryland, College Park.
The AMSC Program is an interdisciplinary academic program that receives its core funding from the:
- Department of Mathematics
- Center for Scientific Computation and Mathematical Modeling (CSCAMM)
- Institute for Physical Science and Technology (IPST)
In addition, there are 16 other affiliated departments or institutes and over 120 faculty members at the University of Maryland, College Park.
