Robust numerical schemes for shallow water equations: entropy stability, well-balancing and uncertainty quantification

The talk will be based on various recent algorithms for shallow water equations that are energy stable and well-balanced with respect to interesting steady states. Possible extensions to multi-layer shallow water equations will be presented. I will conclude by introducing novel numerical algorithms to quantify the uncertainty in data and sources for the shallow water equations.
