Abstract: This talk will describe analysis of singularities in the complex plane for the incompressible Euler equations. For singularities of special type, we are able to unfold the singularities; i.e., we find a transformation of the variables so that the resulting equations are nonsingular. Possible application to the problem of formation of real singularities is discussed.
