Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Rey. He accepted a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Universite de Lille.
Professor Pierre-Emmanuel Jabin will serve as CSCAMM associate Director as of July 1, 2014.
Congratulations to Professor Doron Levy (CSCAMM/Mathematics) who was named as a 2014 Fellow of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
Dana Botesteanu at the Rock and Roll Marathon Congratulations to graduate student Dana-Adriana Botesteanu (CSCAMM/AMSC) who completed the Rock and Roll Marathon in Washington, D.C. on March 14th with a time of 5hr 20min 55sec.
Congratulations to Professor Radu Balan (CSCAMM/Mathematics) who directed the UMd team as 2014 Meritorious Winner in the Mathematical Contest in Modeling and to graduate student Dana-Adriana Botesteanu (CSCAMM/AMSC) who was part of coaching team.
